The high-voltage lithium-ion battery sends power to all four wheels through an AC induction motor up front and an AC permanent-magnet synchronous motor at the rear. Both motors are liquid-cooled and have a final drive ratio of 15.02:1. Combined power is rated from the factory at 593 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque, and towing capacity is rated at 11,000 pounds.
The heated and ventilated front seats are trimmed in black Premium upholstery with white piping, and the Foundation Series specified white upholstery on the dashboard and door panel inserts. Other appointments include an 18.5″ front touchscreen, a 9.4” rear touchscreen, a 15-speaker sound system, heated rear seats, wireless charging pads, USB ports, and 110-volt power outlets.
The oblong steering wheel has buttons and scroll wheels instead of control stalks. The driver is aided by Full Self-Driving capability, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, emergency lane departure avoidance, and eight exterior cameras.
The digital odometer indicates 167 miles.
