The turbocharged 3.0-liter DOHC inline-six is shared with the contemporary BMW Z4 and was factory rated at 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. A Remark stainless-steel exhaust system has been fitted, and the factory strut-tower braces have been replaced with Dinan units.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission with Toyota’s Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) technology, which adds automatic rev-matching. The car is also equipped with an electronically-controlled rear differential.

The heated and power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in black leather with white stitching that extends to the center console and dashboard. Additional appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, carbon-fiber trim, driver-seat position memory, sport pedals, a GR-logo shift knob, a Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging tray, and an 8.8″ touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 12-speaker 500-watt JBL sound system.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an electronic instrument cluster that displays a digital speedometer, a gear indicator, and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as bar-style gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 273 miles.
