This 2006 Ford GT is one of 4,038 examples produced in total, and one of just 343 Heritage Editions.

Power is provided by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle and a helical limited-slip differential.

In addition to the Heritage livery, factory options include a McIntosh stereo system, forged wheels, and grey-painted brake calipers.

A set of standard Ford GT wheels have been added and feature orange spokes, and other modifications include a Cool Tech transaxle cooler, an Accufab X-pipe and air inlet support, a fire-suppression system.

The styling of the Ford GT pays homage to the GT40 race car, which won Le Mans four consecutive times between 1966 and 1969. Aluminum bodywork is wrapped over a superplastic-formed frame and roll-bonded floor panels.

The Gulf-inspired blue and orange paintwork on this example was a $13k option when new.

The recent Carfax report shows no history of accidents or other damage.

Standard Ford GT 18″ front and 19″ rear wheels have been fitted in place of the forged BBS items and are finished in orange to match the Gulf-style livery.

Bridgestone RE050A tires and measure 265/40 up front and 345/35 out back.

The factory forged wheels are also available if the buyer requests in lieu of the pictured wheels.

The car has been fitted with a set of John Bailey hood vents and a Transhine clear bra.

The factory seats were designed by Sparco and feature carbon fiber shells, carbon fiber adjusters, black leather upholstery, and aluminum grommets that evoke GT40 seats.

The car was optioned new with a McIntosh AM/FM/CD stereo system at a cost of $4k.

A set of aftermarket floor mats have been fitted over the bare aluminum floors.

The 8k-rpm tachometer is mounted directly ahead of the driver and is flanked by a temperature gauge to the left and an additional five gauges to the right, including a 220-mph speedometer.

Just over 3,900 miles are shown on the digital odometer.
