This 2001 BMW M3 coupe is finished in Laguna Seca Blue and powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Equipment includes a sunroof, a trunk lid spoiler, xenon headlights, automatic climate control, and heated and power-adjustable front seats.

Subsequent work included reupholstering the interior with Cinnamon leather and installing KW coilovers, 19″ Style 163M wheels, LCI taillights, a Supersprint muffler, Active Autowerks headers, and an XTRONS stereo in addition to rebuilding the VANOS system and engine top end and replacing the connecting-rod bearings, engine mounts, brake rotors and lines, and throttle body actuator and sensor.

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six’s top-end was rebuilt by Kassel Performance in May 2021 with work that included resurfacing the cylinder head, machining the valve seats, and replacing the head gasket, valve cover gasket, valve stem seals, and throttle position sensors.

Connecting-rod bearing recall service have been carried out at 40k miles, and the bearings were replaced again during the 2021 work which also included rebuilding the double-VANOS system and installing a Beisan upper timing chain tensioner, Z4M cam sprocket bolts, VANOSFix seals, and E39 M5 hub springs followed by dynamometer-tuning the ECU.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Active Autowerks exhaust headers and a Supersprint muffler have been installed, and the removed muffler will accompany the car.

The car is finished in Laguna Seca Blue and is fitted with Shadowline trim as well as a glass sunroof, a trunk lid spoiler, xenon headlights, fog lights, replacement side grilles and markers, LCI taillights, and quad exhaust outlets.

The front bumper cover and rear quarter panels have been repainted, as has the area between the trunk lid and rear bumper cover following rust repairs.

Silver-finished 19″ Style 163M wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 255/35 rear Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires.

The car was factory equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and KW coilovers were installed in January 2022.

The four-wheel-disc braking system received stainless-steel lines and replacement pads and cross-drilled rotors in May 2021.

The heated and power-adjustable front sport seats along with the rear bench and the door and side panels were reupholstered with Cinnamon leather.

Additional appointments include automatic climate control, driver seat-position memory, gloss-black trim, a suede-wrapped headliner and pillars, and an aftermarket XTRONS touchscreen stereo with Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

The removed BMW Business CD stereo is included in the sale.

The multifunction suede-wrapped steering wheel features M-color stitching and a centering stripe and frames a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.

The digital odometer indicates 133k miles.
