The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The rear engine lid struts were replaced, and work completed in preparation for sale included resurfacing the cylinder head, adjusting the valves, and replacing the timing belt, timing belt tensioners, head gasket, head bolts, cam seals, water pump, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, spark plugs, coolant hoses, fuel filter, and oil pressure sensor.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The manual transmission oil was changed in preparation for the sale. A spare set of chrome-finished wheels is included in the sale along with manufacturer’s literature, a factory service manual, service records, magazines, and spare parts.
