The water-cooled 2.1L flat-four is equipped with fuel injection and was rebuilt between 2020 and 2021.
The injectors were renewed, the camshaft was reground, the crankshaft and pistons were refurbished, and the radiator, connecting rods, camshaft timing gear, water pump, hydraulic lifters, ignition coils, spark plugs, plug wires, heater core, and distributor cap and rotor have been replaced.
The following additional replacement parts are installed: AMC cylinder heads, Mahle main bearings, Removable pushrod tubes, MansiSpeed 1.35-ratio rockers and pushrods, MansiSpeed high-flow oil pump, MansiSpeed oil pressure relocation kit, Aluminum coolant reservoir, Miscellaneous hardware, lines, hoses, seals, and gaskets.
An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle that was resealed during the 2021 engine rebuild.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a digital clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
