The 4.2-liter inline-six has been fitted with a cylinder head and fuel injection system from a later 4.0-liter engine. An aluminum radiator is installed, and according to the seller, the truck has been driven approximately 100 miles since the rebuild.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a rebuilt Borg-Warner T-5 five-speed transmission, a Dana 30 front axle, an AMC 20 rear axle, and a Dana 300 transfer case. Both front and rear axles are equipped with Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differentials.

The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a voltmeter, an oil pressure gauge, and an 85-mph speedometer with inset readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature.

The six-digit odometer shows 138k miles, though the total mileage is unknown.
