This 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was subsequently fitted with a 427ci V8 mated to a modified 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission and a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential. Bright-finished 18″ snowflake-style wheels feature gold-colored detailing and are mounted with 275/40 BFGoodrich g-Force Sport tires. Braking is handled by Wilwood discs on all four corners with red-finished calipers. The suspension is said to have been fitted with Hotchkis Sport components and includes tubular front control arms.

The interior is equipped with Corbeau front bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery with gray cloth inserts and Firebird branding. A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a simulated turned-aluminum bezel housing Dakota Digital VHX instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a digital clock, and auxiliary gauges.
