The 1.8L DOHC inline-four breathes through a single carburetor and have been overhauled. An electronic ignition system is fitted and service in 2023 included replacing the fuel filter, fuel tank, ignition coil, spark plugs, distributor, and heater valve. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, and the driveshaft flex joint was replaced.
