This 1977 Pontiac LeMans sport coupe is one approximately 1,400 cars optioned with the Can Am package and was delivered new to Miraglio Pontiac in Elk City, Oklahoma.
The Can Am package added a Trans Am-sourced 400ci W72 V8, a handling package, accent stripes, a shaker hood, and a rear spoiler.
The 400ci W72 V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque.
Service includes installing a new alternator as well as replacing the fuel tank sending unit and fan clutch assembly in July 2018 and the oil pressure sending unit in January 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Safe-T-Track differential.
All Can Am cars were finished in Cameo White (11) and sent to Jim Wanger’s Motortown Corporation where appearance items added included a ducktail spoiler, a shaker hood scoop, and black-painted rocker panels, as well as tricolored decals across the hood, doors, and rear spoiler.
Additional features include Can Am branding, louvered quarter windows, and chrome bumpers with guards.
Polished 15″ snowflake-style wheels are wrapped in 255/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white letter tires.
A stow-away spare is stored in the trunk and the removed Rally II wheels are included in the sale.
The car is equipped with the Rally Radial Tuned Suspension Handling Package, power steering, and power-assisted front disc brakes.
The brake master cylinder and wheel-well moldings were replaced.
The interior features seating upholstered in Firethorn Red (71R1) vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets.

The AM/8-track stereo was refurbished in 2012.
The air conditioning compressor was replaced in January 2021.
