The 1.5-liter inline-four is equipped with a single Weber carburetor in addition to a Pierce intake manifold and an electronic fuel pump. It was rebuilt approximately 800 miles ago, with work consisting of stripping the engine to the block, widening oil passageways, honing the cylinders, balancing the rotating assembly and fitting 9:1 compression-ratio flat-top pistons, shaving the head, and regrinding the crankshaft to “B” specifications, as well as replacing the following components: Heavy-duty lifters and pushrods, Bearings, Seals, Water pump, Coolant hoses, Starter, Steel sealing block, Hardware, Battery, Alternator.
The four-speed manual transmission was rebuilt and the clutch disc, pressure plate, and hydraulic cylinders were replaced within the last 800 miles. The fuel tank and sending unit were also replaced along with portions of the exhaust system.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation that consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, a combination gauge for coolant temperature and oil pressure, and a fuel level gauge.
The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 46k miles.
