The air-cooled 2,332cc flat-four have been assembled by Pat Down Performance. It has an 8.2:1 compression ratio and is equipped with dual-port cylinder heads fed by dual Kadron carburetors. Additional equipment includes 94mm pistons, a VM2 camshaft, a CB Performance Magnaspark ignition system, a 26mm Schadek oil pump, and an external oil cooler with an electric fan.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a Freeway Flyer four-speed manual transmission with a 3.44:1 ring and pinion and a lightweight flywheel.
The cabin features heated low-back bucket seats upholstered in Beechwood vinyl that extends to the dashboard, rear parcel shelf, and door panels. German square-weave carpets line the cabin and the front trunk, and additional features include a Vintage Speed shifter, a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo, a chrome-finished right-side grab handle, door panel map pockets, aluminum pedal covers, lap belts, and Coco floor mats. A parking brake handle is mounted under the dashboard.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel wears a Porsche-branded horn button and frames green-letter instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph GPS-based speedometer, a central tachometer, and a combination gauge displaying coolant temperature and fuel level.
