The rebuilt 2.6-liter inline-six features 0.040″ over cylinders and flat-top pistons.
The cylinder head was rebuilt by Floyd Link, formerly of BRE Racing, with a Racer Brown mild street camshaft, bronze valve guides, and enlarged 280Z intake and exhaust valves.
Additional modifications included: Triple Mikuni 40PHH side-draft carburetors with 32mm chokes, K&N 3-carb filter, Custom-fabricated 304 stainless steel fuel rail, Jim Wolf Racing aluminum airbox, ZX-Turbo oil pump, Datsun Competition dampener/pulley, Mikuni air horns, Radiator with a 280Z shroud, 60-amp alternator.
The distributor, ignition coil, and engine mounts, fuel tank, hoses, and electric fuel pump were also replaced during the refurbishment.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential with a 3.545:1 final-drive ratio is installed and that the clutch master and slave cylinders have been replaced.
A MOMO Mario Andretti steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline.
An analog clock and combination gauges are located in the center of the dashboard.
The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles, total mileage is unknown.
