Power comes from a rebuilt high-compression 2.5-liter inline-six that was transplanted from a 1969 TR6.

Approximately 1k miles ago, the engine, transmission, and major mechanical components were rebuilt or refreshed.

The high-compression 2.5-liter inline-six came from a 1969 TR6, and the 4-speed transmission is now fitted with a J-type overdrive system supplied by Quantum Mechanics.

The body was removed from the frame during the restoration and corrosion was remedied with new floors, inner and outer rockers, and new sills.

The tub was then prepped and painted in Sapphire Blue.

Weatherstripping and seals were replaced, new glass side windows and a new windshield were installed, and both bumpers are new.

The hardtop was painted to match and restored with a new headliner and mounting hardware.

A new convertible top has also been installed, and a new boot cover is included with the sale.

The suspension was completely rebuilt with polyurethane bushings and Goodparts adjustable trailing arm brackets, as well as new Road springs, ball joints, and shocks all around.

An OEM-style stainless steel exhaust system was also fitted.

The braking system was gone through, including a new master cylinder, calipers, rotors, pads, shoes, and hoses.

Factory 15″ wheels were refurbished as shown above, including new trim rings and lug nuts.

A set of 205/65 series Continental tires were installed ~1k miles ago.

Mazda MX-5 Miata reclining seats have been fitted with Naugahyde seat covers made by Mr. Mike and new headrest speakers.

Other new items include Securon seat belts, custom interior panels, and a hood cover by Bob Danielson, as well as new carpeting, sound deadening, door panels, crash pads, knobs, sun visors, mirrors, dash support side panels, and a dash top.

The wooden dashboard surround has been redone, instrumentation was disassembled and rebuilt, the gauge faces were silk-screened at West Valley Instruments, and correct green bulb covers were installed.

The original stereo was replaced with a digital Retrosound Bluetooth player with new speakers.

Interior/exterior lighting, the horn, blower motor, stereo, and wipers work properly.

Currently, the odometer shows 68,307 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
