The replacement 3.9L Rover V8 was installed in 2016 and subsequently rebuilt and stroked to 4.2 liters by C&S Performance Engines in 2020. Additional work performed at that time included the installation of the following components: Forged 4.5″ pistons, Wiseco piston rings, Honed rods, Erson camshaft, Ported cylinder heads, Stainless steel valves and aftermarket valve springs, Roller timing chain, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Offenhauser four-barrel intake manifold, Finned MG-script valve covers, ARP studs for the cylinder heads, connecting rod caps, and crankshaft journals, Aluminum radiator, Dual exhaust system with ceramic coated headers.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a narrowed Positraction rear end that was sourced from a Chevrolet S-10.

A three-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as a 120-mph speedometer, the five-digit odometer shows 13k miles, total mileage is unknown.
