The replacement 2.8-liter L28 was built using an F54 block, a ported and polished E88 cylinder head, and fresh gaskets.

The engine breathes through triple Solex 40 carburetors on an FET manifold and tube headers feeding a Zstory twin-stack stainless steel exhaust system.

Additional equipment includes a Z Car Depot harmonic balancer, a four-core Champion radiator with dual 12″ cooling fans, PerTronix ignition, an MSD coil, a Holley fuel pump and pressure regulator, 6AN fuel lines, a 280ZX alternator, and an oil catch can.

The removed stock numbers-matching L24 engine and carburetors are included in the sale.

A wood-look steering wheel frames a replacement Speedhut tachometer and GPS speedometer, the latter of which contains a digital odometer showing 600 miles since installation.

Triple auxiliary gauges from the same company are situated over the center stack.
