This 1973 BMW 3.0CS was refurbished in 2015 with a repaint in metallic blue along with installation of a fuel-injected 3.4-liter M30B35 inline-six and a five-speed manual transmission.The replacement fuel-injected 3.4-liter M30B35 inline six was overhauled and installed in 2015 by La Jolla Independent BMW Service.The cylinder head was refreshed, the intake manifold was media-blasted and powder-coated, and new rings, bearings, and gaskets were fitted along with a replacement water pump.The fuel injection system was also modified, additional work included repainting the engine bay, fabricating a custom wiring harness to use with a replacement DME, and modifying the in-tank fuel pump to work with the fuel injection system.Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission that was fitted with a replacement clutch and related items during the 2015 work.The car was finished from the factory in Fjord Blue (37), and was repainted metallic blue in 2015.Replacement door, window, trunk and hood seals were installed following the repaint.Equipment includes a sunroof, a front air dam, wing windows, and a 3.0CSi trunk badge.Alpina 16” alloy wheels wear 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires.The car features four-wheel disc brakes and independent suspension, with the latter featuring Bilstein shocks in the rear.The power steering pump and two front wheel bearings were replaced in 2015.The cabin was refreshed under previous ownership and is trimmed in black leather with matching replacement door panels and carpets.Equipment includes a wood Alpina shifter knob, a Blaupunkt push-button AM/FM radio, a Pioneer CD multimedia stereo concealed in the glovebox, wood-veneer accents, power windows, and an R134a air conditioning system that was overhauled during the 2015 work.A wood-rimmed steering wheel with an Alpina center cap frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
