This 1972 Triumph TR6 was refurbished with work consisting of repainting the body in yellow, reupholstering the interior in black vinyl, sandblasting the frame, and rebuilding the 2.5-liter inline-six.Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, silver-finished 15″ wire wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, a wood veneer dashboard panel, and a heater.Work included boring the cylinders 0.030″ and installing replacement pistons along with cleaning the intake and exhaust manifolds, refacing the valves and seats, installing bronze valve guides, and replacing the main and rod bearings, crankshaft and camshaft sprockets, valve seals, and gaskets.Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.The frame was sandblasted and painted during the aforementioned refurbishment, and the clutch master cylinder was replaced.The car was repainted yellow by Al Prueitt and Sons during the aforementioned refurbishment following bodywork and corrosion repair.Exterior features include a replacement black soft top and matching top boot along with a bullet-style driver-side mirror and chrome bumpers.The soft top frame have been sandblasted and powder-coated in September 2020.Silver-finished 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires.Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.Work included replacing the brake master cylinder, the front brake pads, and the rear wheel cylinders.The bucket seats were reupholstered in black by Lancaster County Upholstery in January 1999 and are accompanied by a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpets.Equipment includes a wood veneer dashboard panel, a heater, and a Triumph-branded shift knob and rubber floor mats.The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline.Auxiliary gauges are located in the center of the dash.The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles, total mileage is unknown.The 2.5-liter inline-six is fitted with twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was rebuilt by Scotty’s Service Center in November 1993.
