The 7.0-liter LS7 V8 was converted to a wet-sump oiling system and was rebuilt. Features include an Edelbrock intake manifold and fuel rails, a Holley Terminator X electronic fuel injection system and black serpentine drive system, Dirty Dingo engine mounts, GMC-branded coil covers, PerTronix ignition coils, and ceramic-coated Schoenfeld exhaust headers. A Boyd Welding aluminum fuel tank and an aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans have been fitted.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission, an NP205 dual-range transfer case, and a Dana 44 front axle and a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73:1 limited-slip differentials. The transmission, transfer case, and axles are said to have been rebuilt during the refurbishment. A jet-coated dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers has been fitted.

The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames Dakota Digital instruments including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an electric clock, and auxiliary gauges.

The digital odometer shows 222 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
