The 350ci V8 was rebuilt and is equipped with Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, tubular exhaust headers, billet-aluminum pulleys, and an aluminum radiator. An HEI distributor and a electric fuel pump are also fitted.

The engine-pad stamping ends in TRL, which is consistent with a 350ci V8 for use with a four-barrel carburetor and automatic transmission in a 1972 truck.

Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
