The 2.5-liter inline-six was overhauled in the late 2000s and is equipped with triple Weber 40 DCOE carburetors, a PerTronix ignition system, tubular headers, and electronic and mechanical fuel pumps. The alternator was refurbished in 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with a retrofitted J-type overdrive. The car has been fitted with a Monza dual exhaust system.
The interior was trimmed in black from the factory and was refreshed during the aforementioned refurbishment with replacement tan leather upholstery on the bucket seats as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpeting and a refinished wood dash. Additional equipment includes a British Leyland AM radio, Scosche speakers, manual-crank windows, and three-point seat belts. An auxiliary hood release handle has been added to the right footwell.
Smiths instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer and a refurbished tachometer along with centrally mounted gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer was overhauled and reset to zero, and it now shows 91 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
