This 1970 Oldsmobile 442 convertible underwent a frame-off refurbishment in 2019 that involved repainting the exterior in black, re-chroming the bumpers, installing a white soft top, overhauling the suspension, and renewing the black interior using Legendary Auto Interiors components.

The car is powered by a 455ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

Additional equipment includes a W-30-style hood, sport-styled mirrors, and 14” Super Stock II-style wheels along with a four-barrel carburetor, a Hurst shifter, and a push-button AM radio.

An aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans was installed.

Finished from the factory in Ebony Black (19), the car was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment and features white pinstripes along the body sides.

White stripes also accent the W-30-style hood, which features dual scoops and exposed locks.

Additional work during the refurbishment consisted of re-chroming the bumpers, replacing the headlights, and installing a replacement white soft top.

The car is also equipped with body-color sport-styled mirrors and 442 badging on the fenders and trunk lid.

Painted and polished 14” Super Stock II-style wheels are mounted with GR70-14 Firestone Wide Oval bias-ply tires, and a matching spare is stored in the trunk.

Braking is from power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The brake lines were replaced and the suspension was rebuilt using Moog components during the refurbishment.

The cabin features bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl while woodgrain trim accents the color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panel.

Legendary Auto Interiors components were reportedly used during the refurbishment, and appointments include a push-button AM radio, a Hurst shifter, a heater/defroster, and crank windows.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer flanked by a combination gauge and a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock.

The five-digit odometer shows 7k miles, which represent the distance traveled since the completion of the refurbishment.

Approximately 1,200 miles have been added, and total mileage is unknown.
