The replacement 2.8-liter M130 inline-six have been rebuilt before it was installed, and it is equipped with a rebuilt Bosch fuel injection pump, a 123ignition electronic ignition distributor, and an aluminum radiator with a Spal pusher fan. The wiring harness for the car was inspected and refurbished to stock specifications during the refurbishment. The engine and suspension components were coated in Cerakote ceramic coating.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission that have been rebuilt during the refurbishment along with a replacement driveshaft and a limited-slip differential. A stainless-steel exhaust system has been fitted.

The air conditioning system has been converted to function with R134a refrigerant, the air conditioning condenser was replaced, and a Spal internal blower fan and air diverter baffle have been installed.

The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The majority of the dash lights have been replaced with LEDs.

The five-digit odometer shows just under 100k miles.
