This 1970 Ford Torino GT convertible is powered by a 351ci Cleveland V8 mated to a 4-speed Toploader manual transmission and optioned with heavy-duty suspension, front disc brakes, air conditioning, bucket seats, a center console, and more.
The 351ci Cleveland V8 is topped with a “shaker” scoop.
A 4-speed Toploader manual transmission was fitted in place of the factory Cruise-O-Matic unit in 1994 and has been rebuilt.
A new Hurst shift linkage has also been fitted.
The car underwent a refurbishment in 1994 that included an exterior and interior color change as well as a manual transmission conversion.
More recent service have included a transmission rebuild along with fitment of a new rear window motor, A/C compressor, valve springs and seals, brakes, shift linkage, battery, and more.
The Torino was redesigned for 1970 with a longer and wider body than its predecessor.

Equipped from the factory with heavy duty suspension, the car is fitted with 15″ Magnum 500 wheels fitted with BFGoodrich T/A tires.
Recent work have included the installation of new shocks along with an overhaul of the front disc and rear drum brakes with a new master cylinder, rotors, wheel bearings, and hoses.
The interior was changed from white to black vinyl.
Options include high-back bucket seats with deluxe belts, a 3-spoke steering wheel, a center console, power steering and windows, air conditioning, intermittent wipers, and a working AM/FM stereo.
