Kar Kraft was commissioned by Ford to modify Cobra Jet Mustangs with a larger 429ci V8 featuring “crescent”-shaped combustion chambers. It came from the factory with an aluminum intake manifold and a four-barrel Holley 735-cfm carburetor. The optional Drag Pack added a high-lift camshaft with mechanical lifters as well as cap-screw connecting rods and a revised crankshaft, flywheel, and vibration damper. Output was rated at 375 horsepower when new. Areas of the engine were repainted in 2021, and the oil was changed in preparation for sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The window sticker shows initial delivery to Bill Hanna Ford and lists factory colors and options.

The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Controls for the choke and hood scoop are located on a bracket mounted above the accelerator pedal on the lower dash area.

The five-digit odometer shows 52k miles.
