This 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 was built on September 29, 1969.

It was refurbished in the 1980s, the car is powered by a rebuilt 302ci V8 paired with a Toploader 4-speed manual transmission and a 3.50:1 rear axle.

The 302ci V8 is not original to the car and was rebuilt in 2015.

It was sourced from another Boss 302 and utilizes a block, cylinder heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, and Holley DOZF-9510-Z carburetor that are feature stampings indicating that they were made prior to the production date of this car.

A new Crower camshaft, JE pistons, intake and exhaust valves, valve guides, gaskets, and seals were also installed.

Other equipment includes a Mallory dual-point distributor, a replacement fuel pump, and a replacement exhaust system with dual outlets.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Toploader 4-speed wide-ratio manual transmission and a 3.50:1 rear axle.

Finished in Bright Gold Metallic, the car is equipped with a Black Rhino Corinthian vinyl interior and was optioned from the factory with a tachometer, a center console, an AM radio, and a deck spoiler.

An exterior refurbishment was reportedly performed in the 1980s and included rust repair to the rear quarter panels, floors, and trunk as well as a repaint in the car’s original Bright Gold Metallic (K) with reflective black stripes and black hood and trunk graphics.
