This 1970 Ford Bronco was refurbished and modified with the installation of a 5.0-liter Coyote crate V8 paired with a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission and a twin-stick dual-range transfer case.
The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 was sourced from Summit Racing, replacement fuel and transmission lines were also added, along with a BC Broncos serpentine bracket system, engine mounts, and ceramic-coated exhaust headers.
Power is routed through a six-speed 6R80 automatic transmission said to be sourced from a 2017 F-150 and mated to a Dana 20 transfer case using an Advanced Adapter kit.
Both the transmission and transfer case were recently rebuilt.
Equipment included a Western Differential custom Ford 9″ front axle with Dana 44 knuckles along with a Western Differential Ford 9″ rear end with chromoly axles.
The frame was aligned, at which time replacement coil cups and long reach shock towers were installed.
Service records are included in the sale.
The body panels and tub were replaced prior to the truck being repainted Brittany Blue.
Exterior features include LED headlamps, hood vents, a fold-forward windshield, black wheel arch flares, a black soft top, Amp Research power-retractable side steps, a billet fuel cap, a spare tire carrier, Borla mufflers with dual exhaust outlets, and Wild Horse steel bumpers that are coated with tractor enamel and satin clear coat.
The truck is equipped with a Mike’s Metal Worx single glass door kit.
Black Rock 17″ wheels wear 285/70 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.
Remote-reservoir Bilstein shocks are fitted front and rear and are joined by front sway bars, James Duff radius arms, a Borgeson steering box, a Wilwood brake master cylinder, replacement braided steel brake lines, and disc brakes all around.
The cabin features Tom’s Offroad front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Parchment vinyl with matching door panel inserts and black carpets.
Sound deadening is present below the carpeting, and equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, red three-point seat belts, a Krawlers Edge roll cage, and a lockable center console housing a Sony stereo.
The 15″ wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a tilt-adjustable Summit Racing steering column and frames a Dakota Instruments combination cluster consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a digital display, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and battery voltage.
The digital odometer shows under 500 miles, which is the distance covered since the completion of the build.
True chassis mileage is unknown.
