This 1970 Dodge Super Bee hardtop is powered by a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 crate engine mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a Moser Engineering limited-slip differential with 3.91:1 gearing.
The car have undergone a refurbishment that commenced in 2017, and subsequent work consisted of installing Dakota Digital instrumentation and replacement Procar front bucket seats as well as rear Wilwood brake calipers, Vintage Air climate control, aftermarket headlights, Hooker BlackHeart headers and exhaust, Billet Specialties 15″ wheels, and M&H drag-radial tires.
Finished in yellow over black upholstery, the car also is equipped with a rear wing, a scooped hood, a pistol-grip shifter, and a Bluetooth-compatible AM/eight-track radio linked to aftermarket speakers.
A Mopar Performance 6.4-liter Hemi V8 crate engine (part number 68303090AA) was installed by Dodgemaster Automotive in late 2022.
The engine is complemented by Hooker BlackHeart headers and exhaust as well as a Griffin aluminum radiator and a Mopar air filter and high-performance oil pump.
Work performed in conjunction with fitting the engine consisted of replacing the alternator, pulleys, belts, radiator hoses, battery, and intake-air temperature sensor.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission and a Moser Engineering limited-slip differential with 3.91:1 gearing, which were installed by The Hot Rod Barn October 2021 along with replacement of the clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing.
The fuel tank and fuel pump were replaced in late 2022, and the transmission and differential fluids were changed in early 2023, as was the engine oil.
The body have been repainted yellow and is accented by black Super Bee tail stripes, a black rear wing, and 392 badging on the front fenders.
The matte-black hood has yellow dual air scoops, Hemi badging, and securing pins.
Additional exterior features include split front grilles ringed by chrome bumpers, aftermarket headlights, a chrome rear bumper, and dual exhaust outlets.
Billet Specialties 15″ wheels are wrapped in M&H Racemaster drag-radial tires measuring 185/75 up front and 325/50 out back.
The car is equipped with cross-drilled and slotted brake rotors at all four corners, with Wilwood calipers at the rear.
Front and rear QA1 Stocker Star shocks were installed.
The brake fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale.
Procar Scat front bucket seats have been installed, and the rear bench similarly is trimmed in black.
Features include woodgrain trim on the dashboard and center console as well as Vintage Air climate control, a pistol-grip shifter, Super Bee–branded floor mats, and manual windows.
Linked to aftermarket speakers, the AM radio has an eight-track player, and records viewable indicate that the radio has been updated to receive FM stations and be compatible with Bluetooth and USB devices.
The air-conditioning system was recharged in preparation for the sale.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Dakota Digital instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage.
The digital odometer shows 17k miles, true chassis mileage is unknown.
