The car was stored from the early 1980s until 2006, when have been refurbished with overhauls of its numbers-matching 350ci V8, three-speed automatic transmission, carburetor, and brakes.

The 350ci V8 and three-speed TH350 automatic transmission have been rebuilt in 2006 along with the carburetor, distributor, alternator, and starter.

The fuel tank was removed and cleaned, and the fuel pump was replaced.

A new battery was installed in preparation for sale.

Engine-pad stamp 10L122193 matches the final digits of the car’s serial number, while code suffix CNN is consistent with a 350ci V8 that was rated at 250 horsepower for use in a 1970 model with a two-barrel carburetor and a TH350 automatic transmission.

An aftermarket dual exhaust system with an X-pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers was installed during the 2006 work.

The rear axles and bearings were also replaced.

The car was delivered new in Autumn Gold and was fitted with vinyl roof trim at some point prior to 1972, which was replaced as part of the 2006 work.

A fiberglass bed cover was also installed and refinished to match the roof.

The rear window channel and lower front fenders were repaired.

Slotted 14×7″ Dan Gurney Eagle wheels wear BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires.

Work in the mid-2000s included rebuilding the brake booster, master cylinder, and front disc calipers as well as replacement of the brake lines, hoses, pads, and shoes.

The suspension was overhauled with boxed rear trailing arms, a larger front sway bar, a rear sway bar, and replacement control arm bushings.

A quicker-ratio steering gearbox was installed and the ball joints changed.

The car came fitted with a bench seat trimmed in Saddle vinyl from the factory, and the seat cover was replaced around 2006.

The air conditioning system has been converted to use R134a refrigerant, and a rebuilt compressor was installed in July 2021 along with a new receiver drier.

An aftermarket AM/FM stereo drives speakers in the modified kick panels and behind the seat.

The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles and has rolled over.

Approximately 83k miles have been added since 1972, 3k of which have been driven since the 2006 project.
