The replacement 2.5-liter inline-six is equipped with three SU HS6 carburetors and a remote air intake. Work performed during the refurbishment includes balancing and rebuilding the engine with a machined crankshaft and replacing the fuel tank. The engine is modified with the following components: 9.5:1 compression pistons, “150hp” camshaft, Oversized valves and hardened valve seats, 123Ignition electronic distributor, Electronic fuel pump, Thermostatically-controlled SPAL electric cooling fans, Fidanza aluminum flywheel, Aluminum radiator, Polished stainless-steel radiator shroud, 100-amp alternator, Replacement wiring harness with eight fuses and six circuit breakers, WOSP lightweight starter, Spin-on oil filter conversion, An oil cooler. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement four-speed manual transmission with a J-Type overdrive. The rear limited-slip differential is sourced from an Infiniti and is equipped with CV axles. Refurbishment work included powder-coating the chassis and installing a stainless-steel exhaust system.

The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The instrumentation has been rebuilt and that the tachometer is equipped with an electronic conversion.

The five-digit odometer shows 79k miles, true mileage is unknown.
