This 1969 Triumph TR6 was given a frame-up restoration over the last year.

A repaint was done in the original Triumph Racing Green over new old stock body panels, the tan interior was refurbished, and a new convertible top was installed.

Power comes from a rebuilt numbers-matching 2.5-liter inline-six mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.

The 2.5-liter inline-six underwent a rebuild that included resurfacing the cylinder head and installing new piston rings, bearings, seals, timing chain, and new old stock Stromberg carburetors.

A complete new wiring harness and new old stock heavy wall Walker exhaust system were also installed.

The 4-speed manual transmission received new front, rear, and speedometer seals, and the synchro gaps were measured.

Other work listed as completed included: New clutch, pressure plate, and release bearing, New cross shaft, fork drilled and bolted, New clutch master and slave cylinders, New water pump and thermostat, Differential pinion and output seals replaced, U-joints replaced, Brake master cylinder rebuilt, servo resealed, New brake discs, pads, shoes, wheel cylinders, and hoses, Brake calipers rebuilt with new pistons, New control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, trunnion seals, steering rack boots and mounts, stabilizer mounts and ends, and shocks, New battery, New emergency brake cables, Most reassembly with stainless steel hardware.

Engine stamping #CC27594HE can be seen above and matches the number listed on the Heritage Trust Certificate.

Work during the restoration also included installing a new clutch system and NOS Stromberg carburetors, resealing the transmission and differential, replacing the u-joints, refurbishing the brake system and suspension, fitting new wheels and tires, and much more.

All body panels other than the bonnet and trunk were replaced with new old stock panels which came with the disassembled car when he purchased it.

New floor boards, frame reinforcement, and rear control arm boxes were installed.

The rockers and their end caps did not need to be replaced and remain original.

New chrome wire wheels were fitted during the restoration, and new Michelin Defender redline tires were mounted.

A new Robbins black convertible top was installed, and new webbing was added on the convertible top frame.

Rubber body seals were also replaced including seals for the windscreen, bonnet, trunk, doors, headlights, bumper, and top.

The interior is trimmed in correct tan, as listed on the Heritage Trust Certificate, and was also restored.

Work included installing new upholstery, carpets and pads, dash, seat foam and diaphragms, door tops, handles, knobs, glove box, visors, seat belts, and window scraper seals, and rebuilding the window channels.

The odometer shows 51k miles, about 200 of which have been added following the completion of the restoration.
