This 1969 Ford Torino GT is finished in Royal Maroon, factory options include a 351ci V8, select-shift Cruise-O-Matic transmission, Traction Lok differential, vinyl roof, an electric clock, adjustable front headrests, and an AM radio.
The 351ci V8 was rebuilt in 2007 and modified with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, Ford intake manifold, competition camshaft, 10:1 compression pistons, and a dual exhaust system.
Power is claimed to be around 300 horsepower, and the original carburetor, intake, and air cleaner all accompany the sale.
A gel cell battery is hidden in an original style Autolite case, and the optional Cruise-O-Matic transmission was also rebuilt in 2007.
A service log covers mechanical maintenance from 2012-2017, and the most recent oil change was completed in 2023.
During the restoration the chassis was disassembled and many suspension components were replaced.
In 2007, this Torino GT was disassembled entirely, repainted in factory Royal Maroon, and reassembled using new or refurbished hardware throughout.
The original 14″ Argent styled steel wheels and trim rings have been refurbished.
A set of 215/70 series BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires were mounted.
The black vinyl upholstery, carpeting, and headliner were all redone in 2007.
An aftermarket tachometer is installed on the steering column, and a set of auxiliary gauges are installed below the radio.
A Ford power steering unit was also added during the restoration.
