This 1969 Ford Mustang SportsRoof was acquired as a body shell in 2009 and subsequently refurbished over the next 11 years.
Work included the installation of a Ford Performance 427ci V8 crate engine, a Tremec T-5 five-speed manual transmission, a Ford 9” rear end, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, 17” Foose wheels, and a Total Control Products front coil-over conversion kit, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and front and rear sway bars.
The car was refinished in Oceano Blue, and the interior includes black vinyl TMI seats, replacement carpets and door panels, a Classic Auto Air HVAC system, a Custom Autosound stereo, and Dakota Digital gauges.
The body was placed on a rotisserie, fitted with replacement rear quarter panels and front fender sections, and refinished in Oceano Blue.
The bumpers, trim, and glass were also replaced, and exterior details include a black-finished Shaker hood, side stripes, Mach 1 graphics, front and rear spoilers, rear window louvers, side scoops, LED taillights, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 17” Foose wheels are mounted with 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Sumitomo tires.
Braking is via Wilwood four-wheel discs, and additional work included the installation of rear reverse-eye leaf springs and a Total Control front-coilover conversion kit, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and front and rear sway bars.
The cabin was lined with sound-deadening insulation and fitted with TMI black vinyl-upholstered seats, matching door panels, color-coordinated carpets, and a replacement dashboard.
Additional equipment includes a Classic Auto Air HVAC system, a Custom Autosound stereo, a Hurst shifter, and a center console with dual cupholders.
A refurbished rim-blow steering wheel sits ahead of Dakota Digital instrumentation that includes an 8k-rpm tachometer with an inset digital clock, a 160-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The digital odometer shows 215 miles.
Total chassis mileage is unknown.
