Subsequent work from 2000 to 2005 consisted of stripping the body and replacing the fenders, quarter panels, and floors as well as repainting the car, reupholstering the interior, rebuilding and installing a replacement 383ci V8, and fitting Wilwood front disc brakes.

The replacement 383ci V8 have been rebuilt and features a four-barrel carburetor and a PerTronix Digital HP ignition system.
A rebuilt alternator and a replacement water pump were installed since 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an 8¾” rear axle with 3.23:1 gearing.
An aftermarket dual exhaust system has been installed.
The car left the factory finished in Red (R6) and was repainted yellow in the mid-2000s; after the body was stripped and the fenders, quarter panels, and floors were replaced.
The bumpers have been re-chromed.
Exterior features include a black Super Bee tail stripe, a dual-scoop N96 hood, a satin-black grille and tail panel, hood pins, quad headlights, polished exhaust finishers, and faux quarter-panel scoops.
Chrome 15″ Cragar wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires measuring 225/60 up front and 235/60 out back.
The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by unassisted Wilwood front discs and factory-style rear drums.
The front and rear bench seats have been reupholstered in black vinyl and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting.
Equipment includes a heater/defroster, a Hurst shifter, and lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel has a bright horn ring and frames a 150-mph speedometer, a “tic toc” 8k-rpm tachometer with inset analog clock, and supplementary gauges.
The five-digit odometer shows 16k miles, true mileage is unknown.
