This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is an X-77 example that is finished in Hugger Orange over black.

The car underwent a restoration in Connecticut from November 1992 to September 1993 which included replacement body panels, new paint, updated trim, and other cosmetic updates.

Power is from a service block 302ci V8 mated to a close-ratio M21 4-speed manual transmission and a BV-code 4.10:1 differential.

Power comes from a 302ci “Turbo-Fire” V8 equipped with a ZL2 cowl induction flat-bottom air cleaner, “837” alternator, “480” distributor, “472” intake manifold, and “4053 DZ” Holley carburetor that is believed to be a service replacement dating from 1969 or later.

Power is sent to the wheels through a close-ratio M21 4-speed manual transmission paired with a period replacement BV-code 12-bolt axle with a 4.10:1 ratio.

The body was stripped to bare metal during the restoration at the end of 1992, received new rear quarter panels, and was repainted in its current 72 Hugger Orange under a black vinyl top and twin stripes.

The work was carried out by Vintage Motorcars.

Exterior trim includes a correct FM antenna base, wiper arms, and more.

Factory steel wheels are mounted with chrome hub caps, wide beauty rings, and a set of BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

Seating is trimmed in black vinyl accented with wood trim on the forward center console and dash.

The dash pad is a reproduction and a small patched area is present on the driver-side door panel. The tachometer is said to be an early 7k rpm total/6k rpm redline unit.

The odometer reads 85,420 miles, true mileage unknown.
