The 302ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and finned valve covers. The engine was overhauled in 2016, work included re-sleeving and boring the cylinders 0.030″ over as well as rebuilding the carburetor, replacing fasteners, and re-chroming the radiator cap. The radiator hoses, exhaust manifolds, and smog pump were also replaced at this time. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl. Details include a center console, faux woodgrain trim, a cabin heater, a push-button radio, and retractable front lap belts.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline accompanied by a 120-mph speedometer and a mechanical clock. Additional gauges mounted in the center console display fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage.
The five-digit odometer shows 31k miles.
