This 1969 AMC AMX is reported to be one of 3,620 examples from the model year equipped with a 4-barrel 390ci V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission.

A repaint was performed in 2000, and the engine was rebuilt in 2010 with 9.8:1 JE pistons, a hydraulic roller camshaft, Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, an electronic ignition conversion, and more.

The 390ci V8 was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque, and it sends the power to the Twin-Grip positraction rear axle through a 4-speed manual transmission.

The engine was rebuilt in 2010 and the block was resurfaced again in 2011.

A partial list of performance upgrades include: Edelbrock 750 carburetor, Edelbrock Troker intake manifold, Dogleg cylinder heads, JE pistons, 9.8:1 compression ratio, Hastings rings, Flat tappet hydraulic lifter cam, Crane coil with electronic ignition conversion, Crane fuel pump, Ceramic coated headers.

The transmission was rebuilt in 2011.

An engine oil/filter and brake fluid change was just completed, and a recent compression check yielded 195-220 psi across all cylinders.

The car underwent a color change from its original Seafoam Green to Dodge Rally Red in 1987, and another repaint was carried in 2000.

Exterior highlights include Go-Pak stripes, a stainless front spoiler, and rally wheels.

New ball joints and trunnion bearings were installed, while new rotors, pads, wheel bearings, rebuilt calipers were added, and an AMC Twin-Grip positraction rear differential was installed.

A custom-fitted car cover will also be included.

The interior was originally finished in silver and was dyed black to complement the exterior color change.

Amenities include power steering, power brakes, a tilt-steering column, Rally-Pak gauges, a remote driver mirror, visor vanity mirrors, and a clock.

The Rally-Pak gauges are new old stock items that were retrofitted, and their original packaging is included.

Only 69,400 miles are shown on the odometer.
