The 428ci Cobra Jet V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel Holley carburetor and was rated at 335 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. The engine and other mechanical systems underwent a seven-year overhaul that was completed approximately two decades ago. The car left the factory with a C6 automatic transmission, and a four-speed Toploader manual transmission was installed more than two decades ago.

The woodgrain-accented steering wheel is mounted to a tilt-away column, and it fronts a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. A Stewart-Warner ammeter and oil pressure gauge are mounted in the center stack.

The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles.
