The 428ci V8 features the optional Extra Cooling Package, two Holley four-barrel carburetors, a Cobra-branded air cleaner, and finned Cobra Le Mans valve covers. Have been rebuilt by Dave’s Performance Engineering, approximately 3k miles ago, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Delivered from the factory with a C-6 automatic transmission, the car was fitted with a replacement four-speed Toploader manual transmission in the 1980s. The exhaust system features Magnaflow mufflers.
Documentation accompanying the car includes a reproduction window sticker and an Elite Marti Report detailing colors, equipment, serial numbers, and production information.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel wears a Shelby center cap and frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and fuel level and coolant temperature gauges. A Stewart Warner oil pressure gauge and ammeter are mounted beneath the radio. The five-digit odometer shows less than 87k miles, total mileage is unknown.
