This 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible was manufactured in Baltimore in 1967.A body-off refurbishment carried out in 1997-1998 featured exterior and interior color changes along with a rebuild of the 400ci V8.The 400ci V8 is original to the car and was rebuilt at the time of the restoration to stock specifications, along with a new gas tank and fuel lines.Power is distributed through a 4-speed manual transmission with a 3.55:1 rear axle ratio and equipped with a Safe-T-Track rear end.Factory equipment include a wide-ratio 4-speed manual transmission that sends power through a Safe-T-Track rear end, Rally gauge cluster, and center console.Finished from the factory in Signet Gold (G), the car was repainted in its current red following the replacement of the hood, trunklid, and a quarter panel with used donor parts.The white soft top is reported to be a replacement, factory 14″ Rally wheels are mounted with an older set of Cooper Cobra tires.Delivered from the factory in Parchment vinyl, the interior has been given a color change and refreshed with new carpets and white upholstery over the seats and door panels.Factory options include the rally gauge cluster, center console, and three-spoke steering wheel.The mechanical five-digit odometer shows 10,590 miles, with true mileage unknown.
