The replacement 427ci Side-Oiler V8 was installed and is equipped with dual Holley carburetors fed through an oval air cleaner, along with chrome valve covers and an aftermarket oil pan and exhaust manifolds. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end with a Detroit Locker with 4.56:1 gearing. The dual exhaust system terminates behind the front wheels, and the car is not equipped with mufflers. The removed exhaust manifolds, pipes, and oil pan accompany the vehicle.
The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. A trio of Stewart Warner displays under the dash monitor voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.
The five-digit odometer shows approximately 9k miles, total mileage is unknown.
