This 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback was manufactured in San Jose, California finished in Dark Moss Green over a black vinyl interior with bucket seats.

Approximately 250 miles ago, the car was refurbished and modified in the style of the Mustang from the 1968 Steve McQueen film Bullitt.

Work was was completed by American Auto Restoration, and included installation of a professionally-built 347ci stroker V8.

The 347ci stroker V8 was installed during the refresh and is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox, and rebuilt 9″ 3.50 rear end with positraction.

About 250 miles have been added since the build was completed, and an engine oil/filter service was completed within the past month.

Note that the electrical system was also updated, with the front wires recessed under the driver’s fender for a cleaner appearance.

The underside was also refreshed during the build.

The car was also repainted and received an interior refresh.

Features include a four-speed manual transmission, Hurst shifter, rebuilt 3.50 rear end with positraction, Torq Thrust wheels, rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and a Magnaflow exhaust.

Unlike the movie car, “Mustang” script badging has been retained out back.

15″ Torq Thrust II wheels from American Racing wear custom-milled center caps along with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, sized 215/65 up front and 255/60 out back.

The car is equipped with a rack-and-pinion steering system in addition to four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin was also redone, including new upholstery and carpeting, a Hurst shifter, black dashboard, a tilting steering column, and Shelby-style three-spoke wooden steering wheel with a GT500 horn logo.

The trunk compartment contains a carpeted mat.

Audio upgrades consist of Pioneer door speakers, dash kick panel speakers, rear speakers, and a Rockford Fosgate amplifier.

The odometer indicates 86k miles, with total chassis mileage unknown.
