The C-code 289ci V8 received a two-barrel carburetor from the factory and was rated at 200 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque when new. A dual exhaust and electronic ignition have been installed, and the fluids were changed in preparation for the sale.

Power is delivered to the wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and an 8″ rear axle. The transmission was rebuilt in 2020.

The Elite Marti report lists the color scheme, factory equipment, build statistics, and a production date of January 19, 1967.

The chassis number stamped into the inner fender is 7F91C148423; the 91 body code is consistent with that of a 1967 Mercury Cougar. The owner’s manual, the reproduction door ID tag, and the title all reference the number 7F02C148423, which is consistent with a 1967 Mustang fastback and also is reflected on the Elite Marti report.

A three-spoke steering wheel with an aftermarket wrap sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a combination gauge for oil pressure and the alternator, and additional gauges to monitor coolant temperature and fuel level.

The five-digit odometer shows 26k miles, true mileage is unknown.
