The 289ci V8 was overhauled as part of the build and is equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor along with a billet pulley kit. The following parts and components were replaced as part of the engine work: Ignition coil, distributor, and switch, Exhaust manifolds, pipes, and muffler, Radiator and fan shroud, Water pump, Starter and solenoid, Alternator, Battery, cables, tray, and hold-downs, Fuel tank, lines, sending unit, and hoses, Heater core and fan assembly, Cowl insulation pad.

A Centech wiring harness was installed, and an oil change was performed in March 2024.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a replacement four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.

The frame was stripped and repainted as part of the refurbishment, and additional work is said to have included overhauling the transmission, transfer case, and axles as well as replacing the clutch assembly, pressure plate, and driveshafts.

The transmission and transfer case fluids were changed in March 2024.

A reproduction warranty number tag is affixed to the body within the driver-side footwell, and the removed unit will accompany the truck.

The truck is equipped with a Sparkomatic cassette player as well as aftermarket shifters and stainless-steel door panels. Additional work have included replacing the dash speaker and pad along with the headliner, carpets, door handles, glovebox insert, and various switches and knobs.

A replacement two-spoke steering wheel is mounted on an aftermarket column, and instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer with perimeter supplementary gauges and a five-digit odometer showing 3,700 miles.

The gauges were rebuilt during the refurbishment, and true mileage is unknown.
