The 2.9-liter inline-six have been rebuilt during the refurbishment and fitted with replacement dual SU carburetors around five years ago. The cylinder head has been modified to accept unleaded fuel, and an alternator has been fitted in place of the factory generator. Additional modifications include Pertronix electronic ignition, a stainless-steel exhaust system, cast-aluminum oil pan and valve cover, an oil cooler, a spin-on oil filter, upgraded radiator core with an electric fan, and a negative ground electric conversion.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The gearbox was rebuilt during the refurbishment in the late 1990s and fitted with a replacement first gear layshaft, bearings, and synchro rings. Additional work at that time have included rust repairs on the chassis, seam-welding the floor pans, replacing the trunk floor and framework around the trunk opening, and installing steel bracing on the firewall around the transmission opening.

A Moto-Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that was reportedly refurbished approximately five years ago and includes a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary displays.

The five-digit odometer shows approximately 56k miles, total mileage is unknown. The removed steering wheel is included in the sale.
