The 2.9-liter inline-six was overhauled during the build and fitted with an aftermarket camshaft and valve springs as well as upgraded SU carburetors. A five-speed manual gearbox was installed using a Smitty conversion kit, a dual exhaust system is installed, and an exhaust hanger fixing point was repaired.

The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate notes the car’s production date as well as its factory colors, equipment, and identification numbers. Manufacturer’s literature is also included in the sale.

The 2+2 cockpit features front bucket seats and rear seat pads upholstered in red leather with matching carpets. Wood veneer trim accents the dashboard, and additional appointments include a heater, a locking glove compartment, a wooden gearshift knob, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and Austin-Healey-branded rubber floor mats. Sound-deadening material was installed during the refurbishment.

The wood-rimmed LeCarra steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplemental gauges.

The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, total mileage is unknown.
