The 428ci Ford V8 is equipped with aluminum Cobra Jet cylinder heads, a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and an MSD ignition system as well as a chrome coolant expansion tank and Moroso air cleaner lid. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A McLeod hydraulic throwout bearing has been fitted.

The low-back bucket seats are covered in black upholstery. Appointments include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, floor mats embroidered with Carroll Shelby’s signature, wind wings, translucent sun visors, and door map pockets.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel with an AC center emblem sits ahead of Stewart Warner instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges.

The five-digit mechanical odometer shows just under 11k miles, and the speedometer drive gear cable was replaced in 2003 at 231 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
