The replacement inline-four have been sourced from a TR4A and was overhauled and enlarged to 2,175cc under current ownership with 87.5mm pistons, a ported cylinder head, a balanced rotating assembly, and a performance camshaft. Additional work have included checking the connecting rods, crankshaft, and block using a magnaflux process. A Kirk Racing header and aluminum pulleys were also installed, and service performed in preparation for the sale involved an oil change and installation of an electric fuel pump.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TR4A-sourced four-speed manual transmission with overdrive that have been overhauled. A Fidanza aluminum flywheel and replacement clutch components were also installed.
A leather-wrapped Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges mounted in the center of the dash.
