This Superformance MKIII is a Cobra replica that was acquired as a rolling chassis in 2007 and subsequently completed with the installation of an aluminum block 482ci Ford V8 built by Keith Craft Performance Engines and mated to a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual transmission as well as a Dana limited-slip differential.

The car is finished in black over black upholstery, and additional equipment includes chrome 17″ Halibrand-style wheels, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes in addition to polished quick-jack bumperettes, ceramic-coated side-exhaust exhaust pipes, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, four-point DJ Safety harnesses, and Smiths instrumentation.

The fiberglass body is finished in black, and bright trim adorns the quick jack bumperettes, windshield surround, single roll hoop, and headlight and taillight surrounds.

Additional exterior details include a bullet-style side mirror, a LeMans-style fuel cap, fender vents, and Cobra and 427 badging along with a hood scoop, wind wings, a Lexan windshield, and ceramic-coated side-exit exhaust pipes.

Paint protection film is applied ahead of the rear wheel arches and to the nose, the latter of which is scuffed along the bottom edge.

Polished 17″ Halibrand-style wheels are secured using knock-off spinners and wear 275/40 front and 315/35 rear BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KO tires.

Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with Wilwood calipers, and the car rides on a four-wheel independent suspension with adjustable coilovers as well as front and rear sway bars.

The fixed-back bucket seats are trimmed in black leather upholstery and are complimented by a color-coordinated dashboard, carpets, and door trim.

Additional equipment includes four-point DJ Safety harnesses, translucent sun visors, a chrome-finished fire extinguisher, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and Superformance-branded floor mats.

The locking glovebox door bears the signature of Carroll Shelby.

The wood-rim steering wheel features a Superformance-logo center emblem and fronts Smiths instrumentation including a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges displaying oil temperature, water temperature, amperage, fuel level, and oil pressure.

A replacement Smiths speedometer with a five-digit mechanical odometer was installed in preparation for the sale and shows 2 miles.

The removed speedometer showing 2,700 miles is included in the sale.
