The 427ci side-oiler V8 is topped with dual four-barrel carburetors and features a Moroso remote oil filter along with a 42-gallon aluminum fuel tank with an aluminum fuel cell, an Edelbrock aluminum water pump, MSD 6AL ignition, Stewart Warner electric fuel pumps, Cobra-branded valve covers, and ARP head studs and bolts.

Additional equipment included the following components: Arias pistons and Eagle connecting rods, March aluminum pulleys, Comp camshaft, Aviaid nine-quart oil pan, MSD Pro-Billet distributor, cap, and Blaster coil, ProTorque starter, Oil cooler.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO II five-speed manual transmission with a Lakewood scattershield bellhousing and a differential with 3.54:1 gearing and a fluid cooler.

A wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel features a Cobra center cap and sits ahead of Shelby American-branded instrumentation including a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and oil temperature.

The five-digit odometer shows just over 5,500 miles.
